Assembly Guidance

At Everviow, we design our furniture to be sturdy, durable, and as easy to assemble as possible. Whether you’re setting up a wardrobe, cabinet, or multifunctional storage unit, this guide will help ensure a smooth, safe, and stress-free assembly experience.
Before you begin, please take a moment to review the steps below.

1. Before You Start

1.1 Check the Package Contents

Carefully open your package and confirm that you have:

  • All wood panels and components

  • Hardware (screws, dowels, hinges, brackets) as listed in the manual

  • An instruction booklet

  • No damaged, scratched, or missing parts

If anything is missing or damaged, please contact us before starting the assembly:

Do not begin assembly until the issue is resolved.

2. Tools You May Need

Most hardware is included in the box. You may also need:

  • Phillips screwdriver

  • Flat-head screwdriver

  • Rubber mallet

  • Small wrench (depending on the product)

  • Soft cloth to protect surfaces

  • Power drill (optional—use at low speed and with caution)

Tip: Avoid overtightening screws, especially when using a power tool, as this may crack wooden panels.

3. Prepare Your Workspace

  • Choose a flat, clean, soft surface (carpet or blanket) to prevent scratches.

  • Make sure you have enough space to lay out all parts.

  • Keep children and pets away during assembly.

  • For large or heavy items, we recommend two adults for safe assembly.

4. Follow the Step-by-Step Instructions

Every Everviow product includes detailed instructions. For the best results, follow them in order.

4.1 Organize All Parts

  • Lay out the panels in the order shown in the manual.

  • Group screws and hardware into small containers to avoid losing pieces.

4.2 Build the Main Structure First

Most products follow a similar sequence:

  1. Connect the side panels and base

  2. Attach the back panels

  3. Install shelves, drawers, or doors

  4. Secure the top panel and finish connectors

Important: Do not fully tighten screws until the frame is complete to allow for proper alignment.

4.3 Installing Drawers & Doors

  • Align drawer runners carefully; even slight misalignment affects smooth sliding.

  • Door hinges can be adjusted using the built-in screws:

    • Up/down

    • Left/right

    • In/out alignment

Proper adjustment ensures smooth, balanced movement.

5. Safety & Stability

5.1 Anti-Tip Hardware (Highly Recommended)

For wardrobes, tall cabinets, or heavy units:

  • Use the included anti-tip brackets.

  • Secure the furniture to the wall with appropriate anchors for your wall type (brick, concrete, plasterboard).

This greatly reduces the risk of tipping accidents, especially in homes with children.

5.2 Weight Limits

To maintain stability, please observe the recommended load limits:

  • Shelves: 10–20 kg (varies by width)

  • Drawers: 8–15 kg

  • Hanging rails: 20–30 kg

See your instruction manual for product-specific limits.

6. After Assembly

6.1 Final Inspection

Once assembly is complete, check that:

  • All screws are tightened

  • The furniture stands level

  • Doors and drawers open smoothly

  • No wobbling or gaps remain

6.2 Post-Assembly Care

  • Avoid loading heavy items immediately; allow the structure to settle.

  • Let solid wood furniture acclimate for 24–48 hours to your room’s temperature.

  • Add felt pads under the legs to protect delicate floors.
